 Colder Weather Means (Check the Furnace)
Now that we are into October's half way point the tempratures are finally dropping and it makes me wonder how this will change my inspections.

With so many Homes and Condo still being built and not yet finished one of my thoughts is in regards to workers turning on the newly installed furnace while they are sanding walls and cutting wood.
 
Often they have not yet installed the filter yet and all of this dirt and dust gets gummed up in the blower unit for the HVAC unit.

Even with the filter in place this amount of debris ends up all over the inside of the vents and returns.

Not only does it spread dirt all over the place after you move in but in many cases can void the warrenty.
